Asheville holiday parade crowds and fun entertain Littles (and Bigs)

We’re thrilled to share a recap of our Asheville Holiday Parade Party – and what a wonderful morning it was!

We had over 25 attendees join us at the United Way building, and the energy, creativity, and connection made the event truly special. Everyone enjoyed a delicious spread of food, a cozy hot chocolate bar, and plenty of fun as we gathered to watch the annual Asheville Holiday Parade pass right by French Broad Avenue – making us the perfect grand finale spot!

A highlight of the morning was our “Snowflakes of Service” activity, where Bigs, Littles, and families created heartfelt cards for “Cards for Hospitalized Kids.” Participants then “mailed” their creations into our Snowflakes of Service Express Mail box. The creativity, compassion, and excitement around the service activity made our Holiday Parade Party that much more meaningful.

Thank you to everyone who came out, crafted, bundled up for the parade, brought their joy, and helped make this morning such a warm and magical celebration of community, gratitude, and togetherness. We can’t wait for more moments like this with our BBBSWNC community!
