Big Brother Barry was so excited to see his longtime Little Brother Tony that he sent Dee Dee Allen, his match support coordinator, these photos this week.
“Had a wonderful Saturday with Tony after a seven-month absence, the longest separation of our nearly 10 years together. Enjoy the pics taken at Linville Caverns in Marion and Abele’s restaurant, where we spent two hours of non-stop chatting over lunch.”
“These were two happy guys,” Dee Dee Allen said. “Barry moved to Georgia several years ago and has come to see Tony at least once a month. He has made arrangements for him to attend Camp Watia for several years as well. Even when Tony’s family moved to Marion, we managed to keep the match open and going.
“Tony is a junior this year, and Barry REALLY wants to stay matched long enough to see Tony graduate. Barry was so excited when I emailed him about the waiver, he couldn’t wait to drive up to see Tony.”
