We welcome Spring with this welcome news – we have lots of new matches!

In Jackson County, new Big Sister Sam and Little Sister Ella are excited to share their interest in art.

Big Sister Jane and Little Sister La’Kenzie are Polk County’s newest community-based match. Jane was La’Kenzie’s teacher previously and wanted to continue working with her as a Big Sister.

Little Brother Marcus and Big Brother Steve are our newest school-based match in Henderson County. They looked forward to reading, playing games, and learning origami together.

Also in Henderson County is this new community-based match – Little Sister Mary and Big Sister Polly. They are excited to get to know each other, arrange flowers, go snow tubing, and learn about Polly’s animals!

New Big Sister Hannah and Little Sister Mary have enjoyed going on walks, walking around downtown Hendersonville, going into museums, and trying restaurants together.

Big Sister Macie and Little Sister Aziah in Buncombe County were looking forward to their first outing – biking at the Biltmore Estate.
BBBS Cashiers & Highlands celebrates three new matches – Big Sister Bernie and Little Sister Sofia, Big Brother Jim and Little Brother Jacob, and Big Brother Ricky and Little Brother Jesus.

Ricky and Jesus have a love for exploring and experiencing new things. Their first outing was a hike up to Sunset Rock in Highlands. Their next adventure, well, let’s just say there will be horses!

Jim and Jacob share a love for all things pizza and ice cream! They both love mechanics. One of their first outings was exploring the shore of Lake Glenville.

Bernie and Sofia are soft-spoken and love the outdoors (and learning). So far, they have had adventures hiking and exploring new foods in the Cashiers area.
