Free, fun and festive – some holiday ideas for spending time with your Little

Bigs, here are three free and fun events you might want to considering doing with your Littles (especially the last!).

On Saturday, Nov. 16 from 10 a.m. to noon, BBBS will be making homemade ornaments for the Care Partners Rehab Hospital Christmas tree and also for 10 “Little Trees” (a project through Care Partners) that will be donated to local nursing homes to brighten the holidays. To sign up, email Jamye Davis at jamyed@bbbswnc.org. We’ll be making the ornaments in the United Way first-floor conference room, below the BBBS of WNC office, 50 S. French Broad Ave., Asheville.

On Tuesday, Dec. 3 from 5:30-7 p.m., we’ll be trimming the tree at Care Partners Rehab Hospital, 16 Rotary Road, Asheville. Join us for pizza, ornament making, and decorating the Christmas tree at Care Partners.

And then on Saturday, Dec. 7 from 1-3 p.m., come for the big BBBS Holiday Party for Bigs and Littles! Sponsored by LEGACY at UNCA, it will be held at UNCA. More details to come!
