We are grateful for two recent grants.
BBBS Henderson County was awarded a grant by Community Foundation of Henderson County to recruit Bigs in the county and, through our CARES program, to increase support for families and children on our wait list. CARES addresses challenges these families face by connecting them with resource, support, and enrichment opportunities.
A grant from Community Foundation of Burke County’s Burke Women’s Fund will support middle school girls through our Group Mentoring program. These funds will initiate middle school girls groups in the county and provide support and connection through a time of transition and growth.
