In Times-News, board member McLaughlin talks about joys of serving BBBS

Candace McLaughlin

Candace McLaughlin, who joined Big Brothers Big Sisters of Henderson County’s Advisory Council in February, wrote this story that The Hendersonville Times-News published Aug. 9.

She talks about the good that BBBS does and about how good it feels to help serve the Henderson County branch.

“I was immediately welcomed with open arms and felt the excitement of having a new member on their team,” she writes. “As we all know, 2020 has been a bit of a whirlwind, but this team has stepped up and has worked diligently creating new ideas and opportunities for Littles and Bigs.”
