In Haywood County, new Big Sister Sara and Little Sister Isabella both love horseback riding, gardening, arts and crafts – and ramen noodles! They plan to share these activities and try new things over the summer.
Meet Big Sister Dee (in green sweatshirt) and Little Sister Ashia. This Polk County match shares a love of animals and dirt bikes. They plan to hang out soon and see where the road takes them (maybe thrift store shopping, taco excursions, even the symphony). The sky is the limit with these two. They both love their iced coffee.
New Big Sister Hannah and Little Sister Lilly, also of Polk County, love mushrooms, hammocks, and climbing. They look forward to going to Harmon Field with their hammocks soon to make plans for big adventures together. Lilly enjoyed Superman ice cream.
High School Bigs rule! Check out these recent site-based matches of Burke County students at Forest Hill Elementary School and NC School of Science and Mathematics (the nation’s first public, residential STEM high school). We applaud these young people for the attention they’re giving their newest young fans! Mentorship can happen early in life.
