New Match Monday celebrates matches in Yancey, Mitchell, Buncombe

We have lots of new matches to report for New Match Monday, especially in our northernmost counties, Mitchell and Yancey counties.

In Mitchell County, Big Sister Samantha and Little Sister Brimleigh are excited about spending time together. Their first outing was going for ice cream after Brimleigh’s soccer game. Big Sister Andrea and Little Sister Glory are excited to start their adventures together. They both are creative and love to be outdoors. Big Brother Andrew and Little Brother Woodrow are excited to play video games together, hike, ride bikes and play sports together. At Greenlee Primary School, High School Big Sister Airionna and Little Sister Journey are excited to start their match. Journey is so excited to have a Big Sister and play games and make crafts with.

In Yancey County, Big Sister Natalie and Little Sister Madison’s first outing will be going to the library to get Madison her very first library card. Madison and Natalie both love to read. At Blue Ridge Elementary School, High School Big Sister Jacee and Little Juniper enjoy their time together connecting through math and playing games. Juniper loves to talk, so she enjoyed telling Jacee all the things.

In Buncombe County, Little Sister Naomi and Big Sister Tara are looking forward to roller skating, swimming, spending time in nature, and trying new adventures together.
