On Veterans Day, Project MARS/AmeriCorps members came together for a day of service at Band of Brothers in Murphy. With gloves and rakes, they were there to serve others – but were already served by those that had already served and given so much. They toured the park and listened to the owner who created this very special place. They roasted hot dogs and s’mores, had truck rides and heard stories of service and sacrifice. A heartfelt thank you to all Veterans!
