Staff attended several virtual seminars during the summit this month staged by BBBS of America. Organized around the stresses our Littles are exposed to, speakers presented topics such as online safety, community violence, trauma-informed support, and youth resiliency.
Staff also learned more about protecting ourselves from “compassion fatigue” – especially timely, given the extra work staff did after Hurricane Helene and recent wildfires.
