Building strong relationships with our school partners is a top priority for Big Brothers Big Sisters of WNC this year. One of the best ways to strengthen these partnerships is by being present in our communities by visiting our counties and connecting directly with superintendents, leadership teams, and school principals.
These visits provide an opportunity to listen, learn, and ensure that each county knows BBBS is present, engaged, and committed to supporting students, families, and schools throughout the school year.
“Meeting with educators and school leaders in Haywood, Cherokee, Swain, and Macon Counties has been a highlight of the back-to-school season,” said LaDonna Sluder, BBBSWNC Director of Community & Wellness Initiatives. “We are grateful for these partnerships and excited about the work happening across our communities.
“We look forward to supporting our BBBS staff, Bigs, Littles, and families throughout the school year.”
We are grateful for our school partners and look forward to growing these relationships and making a meaningful difference together.
