Big Brothers Big Sisters of Cherokee County awarded two scholarships and one honorable mention at the Murphy High School Awards Night on May 28.
Seniors Gracelyn Hughes and Will Joyner received $500 each from the BBBS Cherokee County scholarship fund, while Matthew Stalcup received an honorable mention.
“All went above and beyond while working with their Littles during their junior and senior years,” said Gloria Dockery, BBBS Cherokee Senior Program Coordinator. “Thank you for your kindness, willingness and service to others!”
