Big Brothers Big Sisters of Cherokee County is proud to announce that the 2020-2021 Big Brothers Big Sisters Scholarship goes to Chloe Elizabeth Roe (seen here with Betty Jean Jones, formerly BBBS program coordinator at Hiwassee Dam School). This privately funded $500 scholarship is awarded to a local student who has been actively involved in mentoring their Little. The scholarship recognizes a high school Big’s commitment to BBBS, as well as her/his own academic success. BBBS advisors and program coordinators believe that Ms. Roe, once a Little herself, provided consistent support and service to her Little Sister for more than one year.
