Congratulations to April’s Big of the Month!

When Roshunda and Mi’Niah met in June 2016—it was an instant bond.  Since then, they have developed a very close and trusting relationship wherein Mi’Niah truly feels that she has a Big Sister. Roshunda and Mi’Niah always participate in activates sponsored by BBBS and their participation in these activities has provided them with the opportunity to meet and interact with many other Community-Based matches, creating a better-connected local BBBS community.

Roshunda is committed to giving back to her community and imparts that value to Mi’Niah by regularly scheduling volunteer activities with her. Roshunda is also deeply committed to her role as a Big Sister and ensures that she provides her Little Sister with experiences to help her grow and develop into a responsible individual. Between weekends, Mi’Niah likes to call Roshunda just to check in, say ‘hello’ and make sure she is having a good week as well.
