On May 20, four lucky young men in Cherokee County met with John LaChance, our generous patron and a future Advisory Board member, for a rocket-building project. Kaiden, Mason, Chris, and Gabe – all Little Brothers in the BBBS Cherokee County program, had the opportunity to build rockets from the beginning to blast off!
Our thanks to Murphy Middle School and principal Adam Clonts for allowing us to use their facility for the construction and painting of the rockets. We also want to thank the parents for supporting this project. And a great Big thanks goes to John for his unselfish donations of time and materials in every activity that he so lovingly offers Big Brother Big Sisters.
