Bigs and Littles from all over have fun with Asheville Tourists baseball

Thank you, Asheville Tourists Baseball Club, for a great time Sunday! Our region-wide event drew some 70 Bigs, Littles, current/past board members, and an Advisory Council member from eight of our 18 counties. And what a game! Down 8-1 in the 4th inning to the Aberdeen IronBirds, the Tourists scored four runs in the 7th and one each in the 8th and 9th, before falling just short, 8-7. Our Big Brother of the Year, Brendan Heaney, got to throw out the first pitch!
