“BBBSWNC is more than just a program. It’s a life-changing opportunity for both mentors and mentees,” the Buncombe County Sheriff’s Department said in March, inviting its Instagram followers to be a mentor. “Big Brothers Big Sisters empowers young people to reach their full potential through one-on-one mentoring relationships, providing positive role models and supportive friendships.
“Whether it’s shooting hoops, exploring new hobbies, or simply sharing a laugh, these moments create lasting memories and meaningful connections.”
