Raffle tickets for a pair of hand-built canoes

Thanks to a great match, BBBS Haywood County is raffling a pair of canoes

Win two hand-built skin-on-frame canoes made of ash and poplar wood, with a Dacron polyester skin. Constructed and donated by Big Brother David and Little Brother Landon (pictured here at work), these canoes are 11.5-feet long and weigh 13 pounds apiece. Some of these durable, open-water canoes that students of David’s built nearly 10 years ago are still in use!

Each $20 raffle ticket you buy gives you the chance to win both canoes, plus a stand that holds both of them! The canoes will be on display at BearWaters Brewing in Canton, a Big supporter of BBBS Haywood, through the raffle date.

Drawing will be Dec. 23 at BearWaters Brewing. You don’t have to be present to win. BBBS Haywood County will contact winner. Must be 18 or older to buy a ticket.
