Congratulations to James Pearson, winner of the Walt Disney World raffle that benefitted Big Brothers Big Sisters of Western North Carolina.
Pearson’s name was drawn May 1 at BBBSWNC’s office in Asheville. His winning ticket entitles four people to go to one or more of the Disney theme parks in Orlando, as well as fly from Greensboro to Orlando International Airport, thanks to Spirit Airlines.
Thank you, Walt Disney World and Spirit Airlines. And thank you, also, to everyone who bought raffle tickets during this spring fundraiser. Your help makes it possible to match trained, professionally supported mentors with area children who desperately need the attention of a caring adult willing to contribute just a bit of time each week.
