BBBS Henderson’s annual A Taste of the Vineyard auction raised $20,000, thanks to the support of our wonderful community members who stand behind the BBBS mission to transform children’s lives through mentoring and supportive services.
This year, because of the pandemic, the auction was held online, a decision the Henderson Advisory Council made unanimously. Council members worked diligently to secure auction items, sponsorships, and individual donations from our community.
“Many of the contributors of auction items have participated in the past and embraced the idea of the online auction” said Joe Sherman, Advisory Council Chair.
Our top sponsorships were Margo Barbee, Levi Industrial, and Hunter Automotive Group.
Margo said she decided to be a sponsor because BBBS is a “great organization” and “mentoring is important for our youth.” Randy Hunter from the Hunter Automotive Group said they support BBBS because “it’s always great to have an adult in your life to give you mentorship or guidance.” We are truly grateful to all of our supporters for making it possible for BBBS to continue to ignite the potential of the youth in Henderson County!
