Bowl For Kids Sake Fall 2017 and Spring 2018

Bowl for Kids’ Sake is Big Brothers Big Sisters’ signature fundraiser. Each year, half a million people across America come together to have fun and raise money to support Big Brothers Big Sisters as we expand what’s possible for our youth!

Bowl for Kids’ Sake is the perfect way for individuals to make an impact on our community—and it only takes a little bit of effort to raise the money that makes it possible for Big Brothers Big Sisters of WNC to serve over 2,000 regional youth each year.

During the fall of 2017 and the spring of 2018, six of our area branches will be hosting Bowl For Kids Sake Events, giving you plenty of opportunities to get involved and support our youth!

How Your Donations Help

The Big Brothers Big Sisters agency depends on donations to enroll volunteers, including background checks to ensure child safety, to enroll youth and families, to match Bigs and Littles, and to provide ongoing professional support for children, families and volunteers to build and sustain long-lasting relationships. Programs include Community-based Mentoring, School-based Mentoring, and After-School Mentoring.

Your role in this effort to help local children can not be overstated! We need your help to raise community awareness of the challenges faced by local children and to ask for the financial support needed to help change the trajectory of a child’s life.
